The Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) has good coverage with 4 lines panning the island – the North-South (red) line, the North-East (purple) line, the East-West (green) line and the Circle (orange) line.
Take the Light Rapid Transit (LRT), a fully automated service offering sheltered transits from MRT interchanges into the hearts of public housing estates. The LRT system currently spans 43 stations, serving Bukit Panjang (BPLRT), Sengkang (SKLRT), and Punggol (PGLRT).
Lower Morning Pre-Peak Fares
With effect from 29 December 2017, commuters who tap-in at any MRT or LRT station before 7.45am on weekdays (excluding public holidays), will get to enjoy a fare discount of up to 50 cents off their train fares.
